I commissioned in August 2008 and worked with the Saluki ROTC battalion from
AUG08-APR09 before attending BOLC-2 at Ft. Sill, OK and reporting for flight training at Ft. Rucker, AL MAY09. While there I completed SERE training and the initial flight training and began flying the AH-64D Apache attack helicopter in OCT10. I graduated flight training MAY11 and immediately deployed to Aghanistan to join 10th Combat Aviation Brigade.

My advice, be prepared for anything. Things rarely turn out as planned but that’s not always a bad thing.
