Commissioned May 2003 and selected for Educational Delay to pursue law degree. Received Juris Doctor, passed Illinois Bar, and selected for service in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Started active service in October 2007, graduated the Judge Advocate Officer Basic Course in February 2008. First assignment at Fort Lee, VA, served as Trial Counsel/Brigade Judge Advocate. October 2008, Officer Honor Graduate for U.S. Army Airborne School. Second tour at Scott AFB, IL, served as Assistant Staff Judge Advocate for the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) and assigned ancillary duty as the Field Screening Officer for Southern Illinois University School of Law. Currently, serve as Defense Counsel for the USAR, 154th LOD. Day job is GS Attorney, Procurement Fraud Advisor for SDDC.
