LTC Brian W. Reardon received a Regular Army commission in May 1989 as a Distinguished Military Graduate from Southern Illinois University. His military education includes the Infantry Officer’s Basic and Advanced Courses, Basic Airborne Course, Ranger School, Air Assault School, and the United States Army Command and General Staff College.

LTC Reardon has one deployment as a company commander in support of Intrinsic Action, three combat deployments as a field grade officer in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and one deployment in support of Operation New Dawn.

LTC Reardon’s military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal w/ Oak Leaf Cluster, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Achievement Medal with five Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Unit Citation, and Army’s Superior Unit Citation. National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal with Bronze Service Star, Iraqi Campaign Medal with Four Bronze Service Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. He has earned the Combat Infantry Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, Ranger Tab, Basic Parachutist Badge, and Air Assault Badge.

LTC Reardon and his wife Mary current reside in the Fort Leavenworth area with their three sons, Kevan 20, Kyle 18, and Connor 16.
